Under The Bridge

Amid almost three decades of making and recording music, the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ biggest success on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart came exactly 20 years ago today, when “Under the Bridge” peaked at number two.  “Under the Bridge” was the first of three top 10 singles for the Los Angeles-based band, followed by “Scar Tissue,” which hit number nine in 1999, and “Dani California,” which peaked at number six in 2006.
