Exactly 15 years ago today, Tulsa-based brother act Hanson hit number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with their unforgettable hit song “Mmmbop.”  The tune would spend three weeks at the top, making it the biggest hit of their career — a career that would also include two more top 20 hits:  “I Will Come To You,” which hit number 9 in December 1997, and “This Time Around,” which peaked at number 20 in May 2000.

The Hanson bros’ most recent album, Shout It Out, was released in June 2010.  For more on the group, check out their official website.
