Mac Davis 1942-2020

Mac Davis, who wrote for Elvis Presley and later had a successful career of his own, passed away yesterday at the age of 78. To remember Davis, let us know your favorite memories connected to one or more of his songs. Personally, I don’t have a specific memory of a particular time or event connected to his songs, but I always remember Davis because his biggest hit, “Baby Don’t Get Hooked on Me,” was number one when I was born.
