DEF: The Gregg Allman Band “Lead Me On”

Nashville-born musician Gregg Allman passed away last weekend at the age of 69. In addition to his well-known work with The Allman Brothers Band, Allman released a number of albums as a solo artist, some of which has been billed as The Gregg Allman Band. Two of those albums came out in the 1980s, and they produced one appearance on Billboard‘s Hot 100 — “I’m No Angel” in 1987. The B-side of “I’m No Angel” is a bluesy song titled “Lead Me On,” and in memory of Gregg Allman, “Lead Me On” is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
