DEF: Third World “Try Jah Love”

Jamaican band Third World‘s one appearance on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart came in 1979, when they reached number 47 with “Now That We Found Love.” The group did, though, bubble under the chart a few years later. On this date in 1982, their song “Try Jah Love” debuted on the Bubbling Under chart, where it would spend ten weeks and reach a peak position of number 101.
