Still On Your Mind

Among Willie Nelson’s many successful hit songs, including a host of number one hits on the country charts, his greatest pop music success came exactly 30 years ago today, when his version of “Always On My Mind” peaked at number five on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart.  The song would remain at number five for three weeks, which is two weeks longer than his version of “To All The Girls I’ve Loved Before” with Julio Iglesias would spend at the same peak position a couple years later.
