Hair Band Songwriter Janie Lane’s Legacy
Janie Lane, the Akron Ohio native and former frontman for the band Warrant, passed away yesterday at the age of 47. Warrant was one of my favorites from the hair band era. Warrant’s most popular rock anthem was the 1990 hit “Cherry Pie”. However their highest charting single was the ballad “Heaven” which went to #2 in 1989. What is your favorite Warrant tune?
