Jacksonville, Florida-based band Classics IV made twelve appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with five of those songs reaching the Top 40 and three hitting the Top 10. Exactly 50 years ago, the band’s first Top 10 hit, “Spooky,” was in the second week of a three-week stay at a peak position of number 3.
