Exactly 25 years ago, Cleveland-born singer/songwriter Tracy Chapman peaked at number 6 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with her debut single, “Fast Car.” The song is one of two Top 40 hits that Chapman has scored in her career, and both of them have hit the Top 10. Chapman’s other Top 10 hit was also her biggest hit, as “Give Me One Reason,” hit number 3 in June 1996.
