Richard Marx hit the Top 5 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with all four charting songs from his 1987 self-titled debut album. Exactly 30 years ago, the fourth of that quartet of songs became the first of Marx’s three number one hits when it rose to the top of the chart for a one-week reign.
