Exactly 40 years ago today, the first of ten AL TV episodes featuring “Weird Al” Yankovic that would appear periodically on MTV, then later VH1, aired. The theme music featured a parody of the MTV theme recorded by Yankovic and “Musical Mike” Kieffer.
