DEF: Cinderella “The Last Mile”
Four songs from Philadelphia-based band Cinderella‘s 1988 album Long Cold Winter made appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with three of those songs reaching the Top 40. On this date in 1989, the second of those three Top 40 hits, “The Last Mile,” rose to a peak position of number 36. Today, “The Last Mile” by Cinderella is the Daily Eighties Flashback.
