Guess What? During Steve Perry’s Audition He Wrote A Song

In 1977, Steve Perry auditioned for a spot as an additional singer in the band Journey. Guess what? During the audition, he met with Neal Schon and they wrote their first song together called “Patiently”. The tune later appeared on the 1978 release Infinity, along with “Lights”, “Wheel in the Sky” and “Anytime”.
