Walk The Dinosaur

Detroit-based band Was (Not Was) hit the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in late 1988 and early 1989 with two singles from their What Up, Dog? album. The first, “Spy In The House Of Love,” peaked at number 16 in December 1988.  Then, 25 years ago yesterday, the band’s biggest hit, “Walk The Dinosaur,” peaked at number 7.  The two singles were the only Top 40 hits of the band’s career.
