Vinci: Day Dreams

On his website, Bowling Green, Kentucky-based artist Vinci describes his music as “conscious lyricism over jazz infused hip-hop sounds.” His EP Day Dreams, which was released this summer, certainly reflects that characterization. The EP’s four songs provide a nice soundtrack for a few moments of quiet reflection, especially the first track, “Charity,” which you can hear above. If I have one complaint, it’s that I wish the songs were longer, but even given that, Day Dreams is well worth its experience.
