Too Close 17 Years Later
17 years ago on April 28, 1998 the R&B group Next went number 1 with “Too Close“. The tune contains a sample of “Christmas Rappin'” by Kurtis Blow. The group went #7 a couple years later with the song “Wifey”, but never went number one again. I think this song is one of the smoothest grooves of all-time. What do you give it?
