Even if you don’t know Canadian songwriter Leonard Cohen, you’ve likely heard some of his songs, which have been covered and performed by numerous artists throughout the last five decades.  Among Cohen’s most remade songs is “Hallelujah,” which you may remember if you watched the 2010 Winter Olympics opening ceremony, where k.d. lang performed it.

In anticipation of a new album called Old Ideas, which will be released in January, the highly influential Cohen released a new single today called “Show Me The Place.”  Check it out here.
