Midnight in Moscow

British act Kenny Ball and His Jazzmen have been performing and recording jazz music consistently for more than five decades and have become particularly well known in the United Kingdom.  On the U.S. side, their one and only top 40 hit peaked at number 2 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart for one week exactly 50 years ago today.  The band is still touring, and in fact their next performance is this coming Thursday, March 22, in Wavendon, England.
