J. D. Salinger

You may have heard that J. D. Salinger, the author of the novel The Catcher in the Rye, passed away yesterday at the age of 91.  In 1995, the punk band the Wynona Riders released an album named after the famous author.  The above song, “Squirrel Happy,” comes from that album.  For more on the band, check out this MySpace page.
