To date, Colorado-based band OneRepublic‘s biggest hits have been a pair of songs that have reached the runner-up position on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. In 2007, as a featured artist alongside Timbaland, the band reached number 2 with “Apologize.” Then, in 2014, OneRepublic reached number 2 again, this time with “Counting Stars.” Exactly five years ago today, “Counting Stars” was in its second week at its peak position of number 2.
