It Happened 50 Years Ago: The Young Rascals “Good Lovin'”

New York/New Jersey-based band The Young Rascals (later known simply as The Rascals) hit the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart thirteen times, with six of those singles reaching the Top 10. Three of the band’s singles hit number one, beginning with their first Top 40 hit, “Good Lovin’,” which exactly 50 years ago climbed to the top of the chart for a one-week stay.
