Pennsylvania-based vocal group The Vogues hit Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart 14 times, all between 1965 and 1969, with four of those songs reaching the Top 10. Their first two appearances on the chart — “You’re The One” and “Five O’Clock World” — tied for their biggest hit, with each peaking at number 4. Exactly 50 years ago, The Vogues’ first hit, “You’re The One,” climbed to that peak position, where it would spend one week.
