New York City-based trio The Toys appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart four times, all between 1965 and 1966. The biggest of their four hits was their first hit, “A Lover’s Concerto,” which exactly 50 years ago, climbed to a peak position of number 2, where it would spend three weeks.
