The Supremes hit number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart twelve times. Exactly 50 years ago, the trio rose to the top of the chart for the eighth time, as their fourth Top 10 hit of 1966, “You Keep Me Hangin’ On,” climbed to number one for a two-week reign.
