Melbourne-based group The Seekers made four appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with three of those songs reaching the Top 20 and two hitting the Top 10. Exactly 50 years ago, the band’s biggest hit, “Georgy Girl,” climbed to its peak position of number 2, where it would spend two weeks.
