London-based group The Foundations made five appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, all between 1967 and 1969. The band’s biggest hit was their only Top 10 hit, “Build Me Up Buttercup,” which exactly 50 years ago climbed to a peak position of number 3.
