The Beatles hit number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with two of their twenty chart-topping hits in 1969. Exactly 50 years ago, the first of that pair of hits, “Get Back,” which also featured Billy Preston, rose to the top of the chart to begin a five-week reign.
