Rare Earth made nine appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with six of those songs reaching the Top 40 and three climbing to the Top 10. All of that started with “Get Ready,” their first song to hit the chart. Exactly 50 years ago, “Get Ready” was in its second week at a peak position of number 4.
