Boise, Idaho-based Paul Revere and the Raiders (later, just the Raiders) hit the Top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart five times, with all five of those hits charting between 1966 and 1971. Exactly 50 years ago, the first of the band’s Top 10 hits — “Kicks” — climbed to a peak position of number 4.
