It Happened 50 Years Ago: Los Bravos “Black Is Black”
Spain-based band Los Bravos made three appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, all between 1966 and 1968. Their biggest hit was their only Top 40 hit, “Black Is Black,” which reached not only the Top 40, but the Top 10. Exactly 50 years ago, “Black Is Black” climbed to a peak position of number 4.
