New Orleans-born musician Aaron Neville has made nine appearance on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with four of those songs reaching the Top 40 and three hitting the Top 10. His biggest hits are his two singles that reached number 2, and exactly 50 years ago, his first charting single, “Tell It Like It Is,” rose to that peak position to become the first of those two number 2 hits.
