Happy 50th Birthday, Henry Rollins
Today is veteran rocker Henry Rollins‘ 50th birthday. Few music performers have combined music and activism as deeply as Rollins, who has been active for years in fighting for human rights causes, both with physical work done for these causes and with the themes of his music. This is evident in the song “Illumination” and its video, which appear above.
Rollins’s music and message got me through some dark and rough times.
