DEF: The Tragically Hip “Small Town Bringdown”
News broke yesterday that Gord Downie, the lead singer of Kingston, Ontario-based band The Tragically Hip, died Tuesday at the age of 53. Over the past three decades, The Tragically Hip released fourteen albums, starting with their self-titled EP in 1987. In memory of Downie, today’s Daily Eighties Flashback is the first song and first single from that EP, “Small Town Bringdown.”
