Two songs from The Rolling Stones‘ 1986 album Dirty Work hit the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. On this date that year, the first and biggest of the two hits, a remake of Bob & Earl’s “Harlem Shuffle,” rose to a peak position of number 5.
