DEF: The Jacksons “State of Shock”

After changing their name in the mid-1970s from The Jackson 5 , the Jacksons went on to appear on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart thirteen times, with seven of those songs hitting the Top 20 and three reaching the Top 10. The Jacksons’ biggest hit among that bunch was the last of their three Top 10 hits, “State of Shock,” which on this date in 1984, climbed to a peak position of number 3, where it would spend three weeks. “State of Shock” by the Jacksons is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
