Today’s Daily Eighties Flashback continues with that theme by featuring a song from the 1984 film The Woman In Red, which also starred LeBrock. This song was written and performed by one of pop music legends, Stevie Wonder, who scored the eighth of the nine number one singles of his career when “I Just Called To Say I Love You” hit number one exactly 30 years ago today. “I Just Called To Say I Love You” would spend three weeks at the top of Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, making it one of the longer-running chart-toppers of Wonder’s career.
