After leaving Atlantic Starr in 1984, singer Sharon Bryant would go on to reach Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart twice as a solo artist. Those two appearances came with two singles from her Let Go album, and the biggest hit of the two was the album’s title track, which on this date in 1989 climbed to a peak position of number 34, where it would spend two weeks.
