DEF: Ratt “Round And Round”

Los Angeles-based band Ratt have hit Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart six times, with all of those appearances happening in the 1980s. Of those six singles, two hit the Top 40. In 1985, their third appearance, “Lay It Down,” peaked at exactly number 40, while a year earlier, their first charting single, “Round And Round,” hit number 12. “Round And Round” remains the band’s biggest hit, and exactly 30 years ago, it hit its peak position, where it would spend two weeks.
