DEF: Prince and the Revolution “Sometimes It Snows in April”

As you have likely heard by now, pop music superstar Prince passed away yesterday at the age of 57. Prince was one of the most prolific and successful artists in pop music history, especially in the 1980s. For 12 years in a row — from 1983 and 1994 — Prince hit the Top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart at least once every year. Perhaps, though, particularly given the date of his death, a song that wasn’t released as a single and, thus, didn’t chart provides the best way to remember the Purple One. In memory of Prince, today’s Daily Eighties Flashback is “Sometimes It Snows in April” by Prince and the Revolution from their 1986 album Parade.
