London-based duo Pet Shop Boys have appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart twelve times, all between 1986 and 1991. Of those twelve songs, six hit the Top 40 and five reached the Top 10. The group’s biggest hit was their first charting single, “West End Girls,” which exactly 30 years ago climbed to number one for a one-week stay. To commemorate that anniversary, “West End Girls” by Pet Shop Boys is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
