DEF: Peabo Bryson “If Ever You’re In My Arms Again”

Greenville, South Carolina-born singer Peabo Bryson has reached the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart five times, with each of those songs climbing to the Top 20. Four of the five singles have been duets, including his biggest hit, “A Whole New World (Aladdin’s Theme),” alongside Regina Belle, which spent a week at number one in 1993. Bryson’s one Top 40 hit that wasn’t a duet came with “If Ever You’re In My Arms Again,” which on this date in 1984 rose to a peak position of number 10, where it would spend three weeks.
