DEF: Naked Eyes “When the Lights Go Out”

British duo Naked Eyes are most known for their pair of Top 20 hits, “Always Something There to Remind Me” and “Promises, Promises,” though they did also squeak into the Top 40 with the other two singles they placed on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. On this date in 1983, the first of those two additional Top 40 hits, “When the Lights Go Out,” was in its second week at its peak position of number 37. “When the Lights Go Out” by Naked Eyes is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
