DEF: Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul “Forever”

Boston-born musician Steven Van Zandt is known for his involvement in various endeavors over the past five decades, perhaps most notably as a member of the E Street Band. One of those projects has been his band Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul. In late 1982 and early 1983, that band made its only appearance on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, and on this date in 1983, that song — “Forever” — climbed to a peak position of number 63.
