DEF: Limahl “Only For Love”
You may remember English singer Christopher Hamill (a.k.a. Limahl) for his Top 20 hit Never Ending Story from the film The NeverEnding Story. He did, though, hit Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart one more time as a solo artist, with his followup single, “Only For Love.” On this date in 1985, “Only For Love” hit its peak position of number 51, where it would spend two weeks.
