DEF: Kim Wilde “Kids In America”

London-born singer Kim Wilde hit the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart twice. In 1987, she reached number one with “You Keep Me Hangin’ On.” Five years earlier, in 1982, she scored her first Top 40 hit, as “Kids In America” peaked at number 25. On this date in 1982, “Kids In America” reached that peak position, where it would spend four weeks. Today, it’s the Daily Eighties Flashback.
