DEF: Joan Jett and the Blackhearts “I Hate Myself for Loving You”

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts have hit the Top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart three times. The first two came in 1982 with “I Love Rock ‘N Roll” and “Crimson and Clover.” Six year later, on this date in 1988, “I Hate Myself for Loving You” became the band’s third Top 10 hit, when it rose to its peak position of number 8. “I Hate Myself for Loving You” is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
