DEF: Freddie Jackson “Rock Me Tonight (For Old Times Sake)”

New York City-born singer/songwriter Freddie Jackson has reached Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart seven times in his career, with all of those appearance occurring between 1985 and 1988. Jackson hit the Hot 100 for the first time with “Rock Me Tonight (For Old Times Sake),” which exactly 30 years ago climbed to a peak position of number 18 for a one-week stay, making it the first of two straight Top 20 hits.
