DEF: Eagles “Seven Bridges Road”

In 1994, when “hell froze over,” and the Eagles reunited after their famous breakup that lasted more than a decade, the band hit the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart twice, with “Get Over It” and “Love Will Keep Us Alive.” Before that, their last Top 40 hit had been a live recording of the band covering Steve Young’s song “Seven Bridges Road.”

On this date in 1981, the Eagles’ “Seven Bridges Road” hit its peak position of number 21, where it would spend two weeks. Today, it’s the Daily Eighties Flashback.
