DEF: Carole Bayer Sager “Stronger Than Before”
New York City-born musician Carole Bayer Sager is most known within the music industry for her songwriting success, having written or co-written songs for an all-star set of singers. Sager also released three albums of her own in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and those albums produced two appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. The most successful of those chart appearances came in 1981, when Sager’s only Top 40 hit, “Stronger Then Before,” reached number 30.
