Building from the popularity of what is arguably the most iconic video game of the 1980s, Akron, Ohio-based duo Buckner & Garcia scored the only Top 40 hit of their career in 1982 with “Pac-Man Fever.” Exactly 35 years ago, the song rose to a peak position of number 9.
